in my opinion, they're trying to provide the mainstream market with enthusiast caliber video card... this card is same level with ultra which costs about P32k-45k here in our country but with HD3870x2, you can get this roughly at P20k-28k... SRP in US for ultra is at least 700 USD while in HD3870x2 it's only 450...
