Exaggeration aside, 4Ghz is hard to attain on aircooling. usually on stock cooler limit is in 3.0 ~ 3.2Ghz having an after market cooler maybe be able to bump that up to 3.4 ~ 3.6GhzOriginally Posted by vladmire

master EarlZ is right...benches for Pentium E reaching 4ghz were done using either LN2 or H20.
but for higher-end procs, 4Ghz on air is easy, but keeping it stable is the tough part.

your missing something
let me repeat it for you.
E2140 - E2180 models can be OC'ed up to 4Ghz did i say air cooling?
yeah.. u have a point there..
but still Intels processors are so loving and caring to OC guyz..
it really easy to OC using 65nm..
the Netburst really suck at OC.
the fact that it use 90nm.

Woot! Wala lang.
Can't wait for Penryn.

hahaha.
penryn is a 45nm proccessor..
google is much better! hehhehe.. ok. tnx.
The new Penryns and Wolfdale's are really nice... have you seen the Power Consumption and Temps on these things?
4Ghz on Air... and 4watts Idle power consumption ... with temps at 30c+.. AMAZING!
