for argument sakes, let's put it this way...

    Has SCIENCE found god?

Rcruman, science is objective approach to measure, calculate, and describe the natural/physical/material universe, not spiritual... they both have different methodologies.

"Well, I do not think that it is necessarily the case that science and religion are natural opposites. In fact, I think that there is a very close connection between the two. Further, I think that science without religion is lame and, conversely, that religion without science is blind. Both are important and should work hand-in-hand..."

Why? do you think that science is in the business of finding God?

Science is looking for a NATURAL CAUSE not supernatural nor paranormal.

Guys i think we need to narrow down our subject.

This is not Science versus the bible but rather evolutionists n creationists. Pls remember Religious people and even the bible has nothing against science in general.

So i suggest that we need to define well our subject.

arguing about how many days did the creation took place is not in the realm of sicence but of religion.

when some evolutionists tried to explain the origin of the universe they offer the Big bang theory to the public saying that this is how the cosmos came to be. But the theory can not fully bring us to the ultimate answer w/c is how matter existed? THEY DONT KNOW.

This is the reason why creationists is offering an answer tho its philosopical in its nature but at least it is more logical than what ther BB propose. The ANSWER is this, MATTER n LIFE EXIST because sombody MADE it exist.

Why do things exist instead of no-existence? BB theory cant answer this one
Can nothingness create something? BB theory cant ANSWER this one too.

Now if we are going to interpret things here according to the creationist point of view then these confusion stops.

"Why don't you RE-READ my post bro...I only said I don't believe in CREATIONISM. It does not follow I DON'T believe in "the work of creation" by God. Having said that, God's work of creation is not to be literally read or understood as six days or what others would call " The Hexaemon" as written in the Bible. The Hexaemon as like many other verses in the Bible is to be interpreted metaphorically since the Bible cannot put into scientific detail "how it was created." Therefore, it is fruitless to insist a literal interpretation since science will never find it acceptable.

My faith in the issue of Creation is very simple - That God is responsible for everything He has put in this Universe. And that is enough for me to keep my faith alive on the subject.

My Science in the issue of Creation is very simple as well. The Universal Laws ever since the world began, have never changed. Therefore, creation is a "process" (and a long one at that) dependent upon these Universal Laws to establish natural order of things for life to exist in relative perpetuity. "

would you mind if i will engage you into a discussion on this one w/ proper supporting datas?

kinsay dili mutuo sa scientific data (take note data)?
bro ang science og spirit kay naa sa bible pero sa science walay spirit so it must be both science and spirit to have the complete picture.
