While you are being trained, ng-spend na na ug money ang company, money for your training and for your salary and you had nothing to give in return. Investment ka for them and you are being paid even before you could return that investment but then in a matter of months you quit, resigned, AWOL. The investment, went up in smokes, all the money for nothing. Now imagine certified job hopper naka kay naka agi naka sa etel-ps-lexmark-1&1-sykes-qualfon-convergys with just less than a year on each of them, Surely, if your the interviewer/HR of next company, and you see that record, would you hire such individual?

My friend who's working in Singapore told me that as long as you've had 2 years of experience, you're already considered a skilled worked. Nindot nang daghan company atong ma agi-an, but make sure that each job experiences are worth it, pa abta ug years so the employers would think you are highly capable. Kung months lang, it would make them think you are incompetent and most likely, you did not last long/fired because of your incompetence.

kung naay gap sa employment, igna nalang ngano. Honestly

    Nosebleed.

    ^lol. weird personality disorder.

David Allen claims to have had 35 careers before becoming the leading productivity expert that he is now. Not everyone can be David Allen, of course, but the point is that some people choose to go out of society's mold or box.

you mean naka 15 na ko? yep, i was surprised myself hehe (i listed down the companies in another thread). pero gi-apil nako akong duha ka parttime jobs while in college each of which lasted for about 5 months. then again, my post-college jobs were just stints as well. i average about 6 months in one company. di man sad hinuon ni sila mga multi-national corporations where they invest heavily on training, so wa ra rapud sila na alkanse nako. sakto ra, ni sweldo sila, ni trabaho ko (as in contribute, not just put in hours).

you might ask kung unsa akong plano sa kinabuhi. just like what some employees would say, ganahan ko mag negosyo. a serial entrepreneur, to be specific. wouldn't my varied work experience help me eventually? i think it will. PLUS, my business won't care a thing about my resume hehehe.

job hopping is OK as long as you're still young and have separate investment in some kind of business. otherwise, time will come that age and experience will become liability especially in the Phils. nga butangan dayon ug age limit ang job ads, kulang na lang ingnaon ka nga "imoha na lang ng imong experience dong, ari na lang mis inexperienced fresh grad nga mosukol ug gamay nga sweldo"...
