bro, as per standard, 10/100Base-Tx maximum is 100m. So, expect nga putol2x na gyd connection nimo if mu-exceed ka ani. sakto tung giingon ni CentOS, LAN Extender. The good this with this device is that, it runs on a standard telephone wire (2-wire) connection. You can install it both sides. others can this VDSL / Extended Ethernet technology. Kompanya na inyo bay? i know a company who distributes that thing sa cebu. didto man ni nakapalit sa ila.

So basically per XSpeed, 5 ports na.. 4 switch ports and one extender port.
if you're working in the company and the company want to solve that problem "putol-putol sa connection" they don't matter how expensive it is as long as it solve the problem. Anyway it's one time investment and it become their asset. that if the want it badly...

lisud gyud na nga blema kay ang distance factor ang e consider, allowable is 100meter to a router/modem to the workstation if mulapao na sa 100m which is the tolerante naa na gyd low connection and delay..better if ipadool nalang gyuid or subscribe new lyn na madool sa worstation

the scenario is from the SERVER going to switch 16 port then
distributed to the switch 8 port, almost 5pcs switch 8 port im using to reach the
workstation..sad to say dili continues ang connection kung akong e-ping ang server.
kay naa man gud program na ginagamit..naa ba u idea ani para dili maputol putol
    ang iyang connection?
    im using crossover.

I dont know how heavy the traffic woulg you relay from one side to the other at the distance of 350 meters.

Low cost suggestion, RAS. you just need modems and Remote Access Server.

Next suggestion. Extender. But i dont have a good idea how far an extender can reach. If it works like a hub, then it just extends to another 100m.

Next suggestion. Wireless LAN. Use bridging or AP-Client connection. There are already wireless repeaters in the market.

Next suggestion. LRE. Long reach Ethernet. This can cover even up to distance of kilometers away. But, the cost of this solution would surely burn your pockets like hell.

We have extenders that could reach more than 2kms.
