Ha.ha.ha.ha simply ra gyud kaau ni, if there's a need to register the animal with certain government agency, then we need to lay down the requirements one way to help the buyer and the seller, second if we are saying that we have forest or wild here in the philippines then we have to review the current philippine geo for us to understand, third if this type of animal do belong to endangered specie we need to identify and probably post a picture again we will go back to number 1. fourth I believe we have to congratulate the seller for his effort in preserving and multiplying these type of animal who might be extinct. Sometimes or ego runs over ass and throw it out, we we should do is help this particular person and the government and the world on how we could further multiply this if it is extinct or needs to be in the wild, that is why the question should be how. No offense Croc, I am a Veterinary doctor and had my diploma abroad and have been working with the best NGO for the wild dili pag panghambog bro, been with the preservation of extinct and wild animals for 30 years now, The reason why I tried to send a strong message to you is to get your character out and one thing I noticed, you just want to show that you are correct and I admire you for that however there are things that you should also understand on campaigning for these species and the extinct you need to locate them and admire them, then help them develop more so that one day, we could achieve the wild that we always dreamed off, naa ta mabilin sa ato mga apo ug mga tawo nga wala pa tawn kakita ani mga mananapa. Thank you Croc however please study more and let these people go with your crusade if you really care about them and the animals. be the essence of existence not the reason for extinction, One day you might visit my lab and see for your self how we develop those animals hope to see you soon

Finally a hint of courtesy with no malicious underlying thoughts from your words Dr. Animu....i appreciate that. First of all, i still am not in support of accrediting common people for them to be able to keep these species due to reasons i have laid down in my previous posts. As most likely threads like these might further encourage the poaching of the wild stocks (most especially coz money is involved). secondly re the question of the Philippine Geo and remaining forests, though we have lost much of our forests during the Marcos era (over-logging and deforestation) we still have minor forest reserves left. Cebu for one still has the Tabunan forest which is the last for this province but a hopeful amount of land leaves some promise for the remaining wildlife in the other provinces (Samar, Leyte and much of Mindanao). As to your third point, the Brahminy kite ( Haliastur indus) though internationally is not endangered but is the last thriving large raptor of Cebu. It is the last of its kind that we'll ever see flying above us in this province, their population is fastly dwindling in Cebu and the Visayas thus considered vulnerable by the DENR (reason why it is still protected and lack accreditation still results to sequestration). Fourth point, The seller (TS) has not yet denied nor confirmed his accreditation of his ownership thus proof of a captive breeding still is required. With no offense to you doc, we wouldnt be able to breed or multiply something that is EXTINCT, probably you might mean endangered. An extinct species(not specie---irregardless whether plural or singular) does not exist anymore (it could only be possible with the advent of cell biotechnology, cloning and protoplast isolations). Well your lab, intrigues me and i would look forward to that "one day". We all might be conservationists by heart but it is the means of getting our goals that keep us divided. Not until we can consolidate our efforts, funds and support, will we be able see some light in this seemingly hopeless battle against this environmental catastophy.
