On the other hand, this keyboard and this monitor is real to me. So is this forum, and I do not doubt it. That whatever this is that I am a part of (i.e. universe), it does not need my active attention for it to continue existing. When I sleep and later wake up, I notice that some things have not changed, and some did. Some of this things that changed, I could not possibly have done on my sleep, even if I was a somnambulist (or sleep-walker, which I'm not). I could not even remember what I ate last month, let alone sustain everything.
There is therefore an existence that is independent of myself. I also notice that I could not witness everything all at once, and that I only have a partial view each time. This is my view of existence, which is my reality.
And so existence is both actuality (what truly is) that is impersonal and reality (the report of individual consciousness) that is personal.
