oh yes oh yes now I remember... nick used to tell me that he was the concertmaster of that orchestra... nakalimot nako kung si mark or si rey ( at the waterfront)... Or ikaw siguro tu (i've just read ur blog) hehehe....mao cguro tu nga na combine nako ang name... hehehe.. kaila ka ni wayneth?......she used to bring her violin to practice for a school play... can't resist seeing her little cute fingers move across the board...
ummm, kumusta naman si nick? last saw him played at Park Place around 2 years ago?? asa na kaha siya nag play karon? ... he was very much interested with a very old and rare violin that I had repaired for him pero ako lang tawn gibalibaran..

i know mr. amolong by face when we got introduced once but that was the only time i saw him. i dont really know much about him except that he plays and teaches violin.

The original instrument was probably more than 80 years old... Owned by a (former) influential family in the city whose patriarch was a member of the old Manila Municipal Orchestra...
My friend entrusted it to me for repair, thus I showed it to Nick..

i have listened to a few (with emphasis on "few"... lol) violin music that really touched me and i really liked them.
but generally, violin music irritates me. violin music seems like someone is torturing a cat (just like the bagpipes)...
there's this string quartet (name forgotten) that's frequently shown on MTV - hot babes playing classical music fused with modern pop - i like them (okay, maybe their music too...)
