dilemma: road widening project for provincial road improvement but in doing so will affect a historical "natural" landmark. assessment will be to cut the trees (landmark) to gave way to the improvisation. some say it had to be done, others say its an unnecessary sacrifice. talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place.
a possible solution (para rapud ni nako ha): relocation. let the officials proceed with the widening project but instead of cutting the trees down to give way why not uprooting the whole bunch and replant them somewhere. lisod jud nuon kay centuries old na ang mga kahoy and wala pud ta kibaw if unsa na kalalum ang gigamot ani or if it will survive (personally i think it will) being replanted but siguro to apeace both the naturalist and the industrialist, might be a possibility worth looking into dont you think? but with all the red tape it has to cut through, this will be a seemingly tough challenge to undertake (una ani kung willing ba mosponsor ang gobyerno financially). anyway its better than nothing. so if i where you, start petitioning na.
added cliche: ug katong mga hilig kaau ug mga incanto/incantada/kapre diha, muingon napud na accident prone napud ning dalana kay masuko ang mga dili ingon nato na gun-on ila balay, pustaan pa ba. folklore has it that trees naturally positioned in a bowing position facing each other is sort of a "gateway" for souls/elementals/entities to get to wherever. this will soon be a stuff of horror stories napud nya i bet hehe
