    I must have missed something. My sis-in-law is true blue Ormocanon and she never mentioned to me about Gwen being despised by the people of Ormoc. Afterall, it was the family of her husband who had a falling with the public. Gwen was the engine aron mosikat ang familya sa iyang husband sa Ormoc. In fact, the erstwhile Codilla mayor in Ormoc who shot to fame was highly credited through the genius of Gwen. That's what I heard from my sis-in-law. Gwen had marital problems with her former husband the reason she went back to Cebu. Her efforts were even appreciated during that unfortunate calamity in Ormoc when the mountain burst on its seams and caused a big flood killing a number of people.

    The woman who was credited to have ask from Cebu for the big help was no other than Gwen. That's what I heard.

    Tomas is just subtley asking for a cut from whatever Gwen gains from the project. KWARTA ra daugon.

    I'ts not Tomas' character to "feel" for the squatters/lot owners. Karon nalang siya ma-concern? UNSWAH? hELLO! What about those that he displaced by extreme force from the city-owned lots in Mabolo Luyo? The vendors around Sto. Nino? Favoring only the stalls of his biggest election funder Conchita Tan. Hilas ra kaayo ka Tomas. Enough with the OSMENAS.

    By the way, kumusta na iya Navigator? Di ba he first claimed it was just lent to him by a friend? It was just sitting in his garage until the controversy about it blew over. Karon morag walay nahitabo. Pa-drive-drive lang around the city.

    Another thing pa: Daghan kaayong business establishment sa Cebu City nga walay alloted parking space nganong gisingle-out man gyud niya ang Yo! Latino? Kay tungod kontra sila ni Ouano. Paet!

    Tomas should be consistent. Kadto diay and namuyo sa city condominium. Ang mga tao nga nilaban ni Alvin Garcia mao ray iyang gipapahawa. Giputlan pa gyud ug water and electricity. How barbaric is that? Ang Ginoo ra gyud ang mag-igo nimo Tom. Hope you'll survive a second s t _ _ k e attack. Nyahhhh! This should've been the time for you to change for the better.

    @budmendz
    My cousin is also from Ormoc. She tells the same tale as your sis-in-law.

    IMO... it looks like the capitol has the right to drop the deal... the deal is not worth consideration.

    The City had offered 4 hectares lot in NRA to exchange the Province's 53 hectares spread in 11 barangays in the City.

    Although the NRA is prime lot pero bati kaau pagka-develop area... if SRP nuon, the capitol should consider the deal ... hehehe

    It would have been better if the province owned lots are vacant..... but they are full of squatters.... so its not worth also for tom to swap it with SRP lots....

    Exactly why Tomas now is mentioning about SRP that is non negotiable as of this time. NRA is just peanuts compared to the potential of SRP. Gwen knows about that and this is the real meat of her change of heart in the value-for-value deal. SRP is the target of Gwen. Tomas should consider my "basic" proposal above. Pareho silang duha nga makadaug ni Gwen kay gawas pa nagkinahanglan god siya ug tunay nga mga investors para diha sa SRP and not fly-by-night speculators. He can find it easily in Gwen. Sa maayong pagsinabtanay ra man god na daugon if they have some kind of statemanship in their bloods like those who have come before them. Para sa kaayohan sa kadaghanan ba.

    Imong words na ha nga full of squatters though Gwen herself acknowledged that some had really completed their obligations. ONLY it needs further authentication and study kung tinuod ba mga claims. Pero kahibalo ka Zirv that's a sizeable amount of human voters. I approxiamate nato ug 4 to 5T families na. Say in a family dili mominos sa 3 ka voters, thats a lot. A real lot of people. Tomas is also using his head. We know the fact nga basta violators akin to squatters, Tomas would loathe this people. Gipapahawa man gani niya ang nagpuyo sa City condo before kay kadaghanan sad wa mo tuman sa ilang obligasyon. So di gyud ta katoo nga moingon si Tomas ron nga he is for the welfare of these people (squatters per you) who are now warned by Capitol for eviction.

    But squatters or no squatters, when the property is there in the midst of where development is goin to be, momahal man gyud ang property in the long run. Imo na nang descarte unsa-on nimo pag recover unya if you have the political will aron mapuslan ang yuta nga gi squat.
