unsay wala? all foreign workers can file their complains sa labor bai,dili na perahas diha sa pinas nga kung mu-file kag complain after 500 yrs pa ang hearing..yes naa mga hospitals nga mag take advantage gyud sa foreign nurses especially race and religion.if problema na gani with regards to salary, no-contracts, abuse, etc. you can file a complain sa labor and they will investigate ora mismo.

what our kababayans do not realize which our government failed to anticipate and inform, that even nurses that are already U.S. residents and U.S. educated currently find it very challenging to look for a job particularly new grads.

to add : your qualification has to be on a higher level not only BSN ! you must be a Masters in Nursing or Nurse Practitioner plus with specialty nursing.

these nurses are now scrambling to enroll to several universities. Nurse practitioner has only 5 slots mostly each universities. the US citizen are also joining the fray.

so foreign graduates if you wish to be considered on this. specialize and have at least 3yrs hospital experience. and have masters.

Yes it's a decent job, the pay is high, the age group is dynamic, it's the dream job for many... I'm just saying time/effort is wasted to study a profession/fad that you can't even use/apply after graduating.

it's always either a SAD reality after you finish school OR a HAPPY reality if you never wanted to be a nurse but you we're forced to take it in your college....
