moonski, my fone is one month old with one year warranty..... palit nako sa aerophone...... pero i still flash my fone, sa akong part ako lang gi back up akong fone sa iyang original firmware. Is your fon the white one? if so, pareho ta. I started flashing from shoey's monster pack to pcmmod 1.3 to pcmmod 1.4 to cyberdaemon 1.6 and go back to pcmmod 1.4 kay russian language akong na download sa cyberdaemon so di ko kasulti kung ok ba na nga firmware ang cyberdaemon, as of now im comfortable with pcmmod 1.4 ...... bitaw bai mas maayo nga you think it over kung intresado ba ka mo modd sa imong fone .......... but i tell you, the first time i flashed my fone to shoey's monster pack halos di na nako buhian akong fone because new features are owesome and one thing is lingaw.... anyway pwede ra man di sa ka mag flex or flash sa imong fone, lingaw lingaw lang sa ka ug transfer ug files sa imong fone using p2k softwares.

wikitoy,unsa man imo guide nga guigamit? ang ako ron guide on hand is from EXstassy of motomodders... On the guide, needs 3 apps, MPT, PST and P2K. I am no so sure about PST kay wla ni ngadto sa downloadable. where can we download the PST? Do I need this to 3 apps to flashed my fone to pcmmod 1.4? Pwede ko nimo matagaan ug guide kon unsaon pag upgrade to PCMMOD 1.4 and how to back-up file. Mura ug taas taas gyod ni ako hangyo wikitoy.. hehe. Exstassy's guide is somewhat confusing kon newbie paka kay dili man gud kaayo design for newbie.. Ako kinahanglan kay unsaon pagback-up then pagflash and applications needed to make this happen. I think I will go for the pcmmod 1.4.

My fone is also purchased sa aerophone and it is the black one... PM lang siguro ang guide wikitoy..

moonski, go here for a complete n00b guide. this was made for RAZR modding but it still applies to all p2k based phones especially your e398.

btw, according to audionet, ROKR will be available next week. hope to get my hands on the firmware coz someone there told me, moto alreddy gave them ROKR's frimware, coz sila na daw ang pa flash-on sa mga guba nga phone kaysa ipadala pa sa manila. he even added that they're gonna put up a e398 "club" tested his credibility by asking what prog do they use to flash p2k phones, he can't even give me a straight answer. anyway, moonski, goodluckto your modding!

when it comes to features, i think k700i is better. but since i'm into taking pictures, i prefer having a phone with large memory and a flashcard. i'm planing to buy the e398 because it already has a stereo headset, flash card, usb cable and cd for software included in the package...unlike the k700i, it only has the stereo headset in the package. my friend already bought the k700i but she found it quite disappointing bec. the usb cable is so expensive.

anyway, i don't need irda, fm and video recording for a phone. i'm already contented with the features offered by e398. :mrgreen:

but you can still upgrade e398 with video, quadband (including 850) and most of all with itunes....

GO na ko to upgrade tonight. I already have all the necessary software and I'll be using Shoey V1.... I'm so excited... Any last tips that I should know? Shoey's guide seems to be very n00b friendly. I'll try to download Razr guide also... TY

hehe, back up your phone first using flashbackup, it's almost as important as safe *** you know, lol!
but seriously, just be careful ok? follow instuctions carefully then get 1/4 sheet of paper *joke. iTunes song limit is almost cracked for i398 phones. no need for the 17k ROKR. or if you have paypal or something, you can pay 39.99 to apple for the upgrade.

btw,do you want to buy my 128mb tflash? i know blitz is selling it for 1600 pesos to donate to barbie dull. i think i'm also selling mine for the same price and it wil include either wallpapers, mp3 ringtones or HED KANDI songs stored in it's iTunes folder. i want to get 256mb.
