can anybody help me decide? which would be a better buy, the SE W550i or the MOTO E398?

i have e398 its like a toy doing some modding fun in your fone but the features of w550 is cooler than e398. 1.3megapixel cam, 256mb built in memory, fm radio, bigger screen, full screen video which e398 dont have this features....

how about the memory issue? the w550 is limited to 256mb while the e398 is expandable... or does the w550's radio even out the playing field?

yup w550 is limited to 256mb, but if your looking for a cheaper mp3 fone that has an excellent sound then you can go for e398... wait for the coming of moto v3i , this fon is awesome....

v3i is selling for 750USD in some parts of the U.S. (yes there's alreddy a soft release) but the thing is, it's music player app is limited daw to only 50 songs!? damn moto! hope they burn in hell for all the things that they do (or don't do) to their products!

but going back to the topic, if you're going for a phone - slash -music player, go for batt life. don't know about w550, but OEM e398 is quite good. i heard an iPod can last 8 hours of constant play. my e398, modded, can last well over that time and still manage to make calls, text and alarms.

yup, exactly. damn apple! but i sure hope it's not true for all territories or else, i'll just gt the regular v3 which sells for 12k tops at audio net.

this is the recent upgrade for e398.... unlimited video capture depending on your t-flash, faster processor, 100 song limit on itunes ( they said if you purchase ROKR it is only limited to 25 songs and you have to use your credit card to upgrade to 100 song limit ) , quadband enabled , nice skins, more awesome games, and a lot more..... what do you mean by play continuously? video or audio? anyway, join in our topic " for e398 users only"
