i feel you. being in this situation is difficult, and the best thing to do is just to avoid talking to your ex because it will hurt your current relationship no matter what is your motive. cant take the fact that she/he is your ex.

You should probably ask yourself if you can handle the emotions that will come with you befriending him..is is all right for you that he tells you about his new girl? if you can't then, totally erase him in your life...do not connect anymore...put all your memories under one file folder and move one with your life....
