Socket jud sa ulo ang Intel. May gani AMD ko hehe.
i think you're a bit misinformed, when AMD was on top, they were also playing the socket game ang nakapaet lang ron kay daghan kaayo'g socket gi release ang intel![]()
yeah,socket a, socket 939![]()
hehehe during sa duron, barton, athlon xp and first athlon man guro to bai polds
If we count desktop sockets from year 2000 onwards
Intel (423, 478, 775, 1156, 1366) = 5 sockets
AMD (462, 754, 940, 939, AM2, AM2+, AM3) = 7 sockets
For server based
Intel (771,1366,1567 ) = 3
AMD (940, Socket F, G34 ) = 3
So yeah, if its a socket change issue we all know who to blame, also consider that AMD has announced socket FS1, C32 and AM3 Rev2, while intel has announced only 2 new sockets.
But this is technology, you may buy the best or best this time 6 months after your hardware is already outdated, 12 months after something cheaper for 1/2 or 1/3 the price comes out and roflstomps your hardware, 16 months after your purchase has no more value.
^agreed, mao na pag basa nako sa subject sa thread naka ingon ko og "duh", what did you expect? its liek assuming nga wut ever state of the art tech you have will never be obsolete, I dun think anyone in istorya is that retarded. the only thing constant in this world is change, that way everything is ever new.
kani mga procmobo and vc jud maoy grabe maka change and depreciate oi. mas maayo nalang invest ato lugos mu depreciate nga parts like speakers.
I don't think people with 1366 would mind, we are running our games without any lag, and multi-tasking without problems. A 1366 socket would last long even to 5 year marks, i have known lots of people even now, that has the old 775 socket, and they still think its gonna last them for a long long while. Because ?
the games don't lag, even with the high powered GPU's like ATI 5xxx Series, and NVIDIA GTX xxx series. Even with the bottleneck, wala gihapon lag.
The title in my opinion is in-approriate.
Because Future-Proof means different to each person.
