i had a teacher who once told me, nga to be truly rich (di lang sa kwarta), you must be rich in ALL ASPECTS, and NOT FIND BALANCE or STRENGTH in JUST A FEW ASPECTS of your life. we can be rich in many ways -

SPIRITUAL - being in a close harmonious relationship with your Creator (for whoever that is)
FINANCIAL - being at least wealthy or satisfied of what you have / what you are earning
INTELLECTUAL - being able to satisfy intellectual curiosity
RELATIONAL - being in good relationship with the people around you, esp. your family and LOVED ones
PHYSICAL - being in good health / shape / happy of your form


you have to make ALL areas grow for you to be truly happy. dili kay a few lang and uban kay


example,

sugot ka nga dato kaayo ka pero wa kay gimahal/lonely ka/wa kay steady relationship? char
or sugot ka nga in love kaayo ka, nindot kaayog relationship towards your loved one ka pero wala kay kwarta?


so para sa ako lang, LOVE or CAREER? hehehe. i choose both. if that person you love can't understand the reason why naningkamot ka sa imong career, so be it. maybe di lang siya ang para sa imo. just find someone who will love and support you sa imong pagabuhaton, as long as di lang pud nimo siya i completely forsake.


dako ni nga struggle. pero i can't afford to lose one of them. char.


and i know a lot of people who succeeded because of choosing the two.
