i think very gradual ang upgrade, here in leyte, murag nag-start na kay monitor nako sa akong download, range na cya ug 55-67 KB/s on 384 connection. sa torrent na. normally, bisan daghan ang seeders, i only get around 42-49 KB/s.

and before, if m downloading while browsing, affected tong download rate, muubos sa 30 KB/s, but now, even m browsing, i still get around 49-55 KB/s download rate.

good news nga if globe is coming up with much cheaper plans kay promo ra baya ning akoa, P995 then balik 1495 after a year. ok kaau if around P500-700 ra.

hayahaya gud nimo.. 40~50+ man imo DL speed sa torrent.. ako kay 10~15 ra lagi... mao gyud ni problema nako ron.. same connection rata.. mayta naay maka tabang nako..

Cebu ko, wala paman na upgrade ako connection but mag download man ko 30 to 52 KBps.. depending sa website nga gi downloadan og ang time. usually between 7pm tp 10pm naa ra sa 30 to 42 KBps, panagsa ra kaayo muabot og 50KBps..

pero mao pud lagi, cable nila maputol lang, patay pud ang internet. wala sila nag mind og himo redundancy sa ilang pag cable..

Ako ra man siguro ang okay og connection... So far, ever since nga ningbalik ang connection, didn't experience any speed decrease...

@wendellmb: It may be because gamay ra kaayo ang seeders unya perteng daghan kaayo ang leechers sa imong torrent... That's what I usually experience with public-tracker based torrents and 2nd-rate private torrent sites.

dili na ni sakto karon kay ang akong 40-50KB/s download rate sa torrents from araditracker.com nahimo na lang 4-8KB/s. when will things be normal kaya?

it really depends how much money is globe willing to spend..... it they are like a scrooge.... then this would really be longer.... but if they can come up with the money faster then this could be over by the end of the week..... lets see.....
