Globe DSL 384kbps Express Unlimited, Your Usage/Opinion.

Smart Wi-fi 256kbps and Globe DSL 384kbps has the same price asa mo vote regarding internet connection speed and service?

I really havent tried smart wifi but from what I have read here sa istorya, they have bad service but i cant really attest that, maybe their service have improved.
If you are planning to get broadband DSL, i suggest you get Globe DSL coz they are presently increasing their speed from 384 - 768 kbps at the same price. 990++, hence if your into online gaming and downloading this is for you.
I am a globe DSL subscriber since aug 2005 and I say they have good customer service. Dali ra kaau tawagon in case you need them. Sa online gaming wla pud problema. I have played Gunz and I can say wla jud lag.
Problem lang sa globe is their billing na wala claro, but they said starting Dec 2005 they will have a new systematic billling method and new bill na user friendly. Hope so.

I have Globe 384Kbps at work, and Smart Wifi at home. Pareha lang sila ug download speed (especially on good connection days for smart).

Globe has good aftersales service. Smart has one of the worst tech service I've seen! Kung naay problema, service tech support is very slow to respond accordingly. So far lately after that unfortunate incident, it has gotten better. Ok naman sad sila.

@edge827: that was what globe personnel told me when they personally called me up over the phone. According to them they will finish the upgrade by dec. 25. If you want to check your speed try to access globequest http://utilities.globequest.com.ph/ and check your bandwidth. If your speed is still below 768 kbps, try to call globe and inquire when you will get your speed increase.

you mean pareho ra ug download speed ang 288kbps sa smart compared sa 384kbps sa Globe?? waah!! naghulat lang ko maexpire ang contract nako sa smart para mobalhin nako sa globe

@edge827: I really cant recall the globe personnel who called me up but the way he spoke sa phone he was fluent in Tagalog so I presume it was from Globe head office in manila . Best way to inquire is to dial the 24H hotline number 4108888. :mrgreen:

Plano sad ko magpa Globe broadband pero sa ilang promo, ang Gentxt Member raman daw ang maka avail sa P900+ nga rate, ang standard is P1400+ man.
Gentxt member gyud mo or pwede ra masturya ila mga agent?
