kadtong 2nd generation (Kadtong Dana) ug 3rd (kadtong Invids) had no connection sa macross, it was a different anime series, pero gi USA lang sa american distributor as ROBOTECH saga.

1st gen diay to kadtong sila si lisa, rick ug minmay. nindot baya ilang story, dili lang ko ka compare sa uban gen kay wala man ko kita,hehehe . sa tv rapud ko kita wala pa jud ko mahuman(akong last nakit-an kay katong mo attack na ilang kontra sa ilang planet.

all three japanese tv series Macross, Army of the Southern Cross, and Mospeda was put together to make ROBOTECH (dubbed to english/french/etc.).
it not just macross renamed to robotech. macross is the name of the island/city that was teleported near jupiter during the fold in the 1st episode which in the suceding episodes became the city inside the SDF-1.

if you check the box series of robotech (1985), the episodes are numbered from 1st gen to 3rd gen straight as in sumpay...ROBOTECH is a story spanning 3 generations of humans (not just 1).

er, actually Macross was the ship a.k.a the SDF-1 after being refurbished and fitted for human habitation. Macross Island was named after the ship

Strumvogel is a decent fighter. Mind controlled if i recal correctly. Almost on par with Sharon Apple. Man, she was wicked.

well, the thinking cap was implemented during this saga. If you read the novel, they used thinking caps instead of manual pedals and sticks during the entire macross saga like the ones used by the strum. discrepancies like this made the novel and the show collide ideas and theories.

i had a marathon on the 1st gen. its kinda going back to childhood. it was great! i remember one time that they were selling limited edition veritech fighters and sayang pag balik nako wala na.
