Di ko expert, naghinayhinay lang ko kasabot how combustion engines work. Last year lang ko naay sakyanan and from then on sige na ko experiment ug nag basa about combustion engine. Wala koy shop pero last year naa koy nakaila nga naay shop ug daghan ko nakat-onan mag sige observe sa ilang work sa shop. Sayon ra man siguro sabton bisan unsa nga butang kung naa kay access to information. The more sayon kung ma testingan gyud nimo first hand ug makita ang result.

Daghan pud information sa internet nga pwede nimo mabasa ug ma implement. Ang car nako ang permi ma testingan nako while using it everyday. Kung unsay mo work nga setup among ipabilin ug iapply sa ubang cars. Regardless of brand name, combustion engines work the same principle and car designs that you see or available sa local market dili mga efficient once you'll know how they work. You'll never see fuel efficient cars today while oil companies don't want you to have one. You can only make them fuel efficient when you start tinkering with them to be fuel efficient. So kung naay mangutana unsay fuel effiecient nga car, mo ingon gyud ko nga wala. However, di ra gihapon ta hopeless kay naa pa mahimo para mo improve ang fuel efficiency even more than 100% than the stock settings.

Balik baliki lang na, just pick the important pieces but don't ignore the details. hehe
Mao gyud na ang usual comment sa mahatagan nako sa links, information overload ang resulta. hehe

Nindot mag group 'ta dire locally mag sharing ug mag implement sa working projects for improvement. Mas daghan utok naghunahuna, mas dali ang project mahuman ug paspas atong development. Kada usa nato, impossible kaayo walay ma contribute, naa gyud kay strength nga wala pud sa uban ug kung mag tampohay ta ug strength nindot ang resulta.

Naay nag gamit dire ug non stock spark plug wires nga walay resistor? Usa pud sa maka improve sa performance sa engine is to use non resistor spark plugs. Nag check ko sa spark plug wires nako, from ignition coil to distributor 5Kohms then 6Kohms from distributor to spark plugs. 11Kohms na tanan. Resistor plug pa gyud gamit, wala pa nuon nako ma check ang resistance sa spark plugs. Nag sige pa ko basa unsaon ni ug improve ang current setup sa ignition system, there are those using DC-AC inverters and capacitor in conjunction with the current ignition system to make a bigger spark which will help ignite water vapor.

go sa weight reduction na lang, like, tangtanga ang back seat sa imo civic. Instead of bringing around a spare tire, use the automatic tire sealant liquid that can be bought sa car truck center sa sm.

    o-swap na lang jud...

  9. #39
required by law man gyud siguro magdala ug spare tire dire sa atoa.
However, I do bring that sealant with my spare tire all the time, samot na nuon ka bug-at pero kusgan ra man gihapon ang 1.3 engine nako.

regarding engine swap, murag di na apil sa option for this thread.
