indie, kung ganahan ka magbanda ug shoegaze, naa koy gisugdan before i left. most of them you probably know coz we belong the same group get in touch with joeg or kapatid....i just hope they still remember the songs that we jammed...mostly from mbv and adorable.

i never thought na mugawas sad intawn ang indie/shoegaze sa cebu...abi man gud nako ma punk na lang gyud...hehehe...huwat na lang ko ani naay mo open ug thread about indie pop!!!!

re sa mga shoegaze na banda in the pinas...the only shoegaze band i know is sonnet 58...the rockers, they play some shoegaze but not really pure shoegaze...

and add lang nako sa origin sa word na shoegaze, ni start na when one british music referred the music being played by some british bands namely mbv, ride, chapterhouse, lush and the old boo radleys...na notice man gud niya na everytime mag perform sila sige lang sila tutok sa ilang shoes (yes, literal kaayo ang origin) nya catatonic kaayo sila. unlike sa punk na lihok kaayo :P akong i refer ninyo for shoegaze listening is my bloody valentine, ride, chapterhouse...stone roses is good too...

ang closest cousin sa shoegaze is dreampop..almost the same na sila pero mas deep ang dream pop...not recommended listening when you are drunk..trust me..

i have a couple of mp3 collections of theses bands...i'm just too lazy to mount it to my computer but maybe soon...

hehehe...mahal kaayo ang orig cd's diri. i usually buy them second hand already from the salvation army store. sometimes naay mamaligya sa ilang mga collection pero nihit kaayo...
