Ask lang ko if muaso ba jud inig first stress test nimo?
Dali lang ba muaso ang hardware kung naay sayop? Nagsunog man tag kwarta ani...

dili mn jud ingon nga mo aso dayon nig test nmo. bsta be patient lng jud and hinay2 lng sa pag pasaka sa core clock ug sa voltage sa cpu, mao kinahanglanon sad jud nmo ang maau nga klase sa cpu cooler ug dapat naa sad kay mga monitoring nga tools pra mo determine sa temp but there are boards nga di na au mahinahanglan ug nindot nga cooler kay sa board lng daan bugnaw na man like wat im using, it's Gigabyte GAP35D-S3L. stock fan ra gni gmit nko.
ako gani stock cooler pa ako gamit karon, i overclocked my E2160 @1.8 to 2.4Ghz.. plano pa ko palit ug mas nindut na cpu cooler para mapatas.an pa nako ug overclock, by the way ako mobo is MSI P31 neo.. :0
my E2160 runs @ 2.4Ghz very cool with stock cooler (the short one) / stock voltage + C1E, on XFX mobo... the board has plenty of OC options including all sorts of voltages, but dont plan to overclock further... at this clockspeed would be the best balance of speed and power efficiency...
yah i think E2160 best bang for the buck. just below 3k..
Stress test programs like Prime95 will automatically end stressing a specific core if it detects failure.
Also current motherboards will automatically reset the bios to its default settings once it detects anomally.
If not, you can always manually reset your bios by removing your CMOS battery.
Plus, nowadays your CPU will automatically shutdown upon reaching threshold temperature
to save itself from being damage.
So the chance of getting a burnt CPU is highly unlikely.
Unless of course if you don't know what you are doing.
interesting read... i'm planning my first overclock of a q6600 2.4Ghz on a gigabyte p35c after reading this review ---> MADSHRIMPS - Hardware Reviews ,Crazy Projects, Modding Tutorials and Overclocking

depende. if readily available sa imong motherboard ang settings, then, manually adjust your settings. most board manufacturers add a software control via windows.![]()
most probably imo i-adjust ang imo FSB, maybe a few MHz increments at a time, until you get the most stable speed.
