listened to some songs on your playlist.. meh.. screamo, i find that shit boring, not shocked by one bit, naka tulgon nuon ko.. still dili gihapon to "emo" sa akong gi definition.

ang pasabot nako sa "emo" sa akong agrgument about it being mainstream kay ang culture mostly and not the music .. vague kaayo cya in terms sa iya music kay wide kaayo ang gi labelan ug emo so kanang sagpa buhok kids, mao nay emo para nako ron.

pero actually though, naa gihapon koy style of music na tawgon gihapon nakog emo.. or "90's emo" akong tawag.. kanang sunny day real estate, mineral, old jimmy eat world, jawbreaker.. ana na sound.. their sound evolved from emotional hardcore (emocore) (like fugazi, rites of spring) but thay dont sound hardcore at all (later fugazi stuff dont sound hardcore too tough).. kung sa music mao nay pasabot nako emo pero dili na mao akong pasabot na maoy ni mainstream.

anyway, thats just my opinion i could be very well be wrong bout this whole thing.. bottom line is emo or not emo, we should be open to all cultures and musical styles and not shun them just they become they suddenly become the flavor of the week.

Critics is good but to hate is something else, its a kind of frustration of emotion(Musically), and its just yourself not the others. So why dont we try to do for the good of others, and anyway thats how they like their music, they express their emotion in that way. And why dont we respect them to be respected.

for me posers are those people who act as one and dress like one but doesnt even know the real meaning of the genre, they are acting like one, they look like one, they think like one but they dont understand, they are just into it because its the famous genre or music, those posers are ruining the beauty of that genre

actually for me, "EMO" is the bullshit term because of the current use of the word, i dont care about the entomology of it, i only care for the current popular use of the word, the culture of the sagpa buhok kids.. tan-awa lang ang mga post diri, matud pa ni ursoman sa post taas nako "murag ang gikalagotan sa mga ng post diri about emo kay di man ang music ang mga tao man na ga emo". na usab na ang definition sa mga tawo ug emo, and there is nothing you or I can change that. i know the history of ithe word, but that shit is null because of how people use the word now. if old english words were used differently today we wouldnt care for the definition of the old times because the current definition is what we use.. sorry, but it's just the way it is..

and btw regarding fugazi and emo, you sir are full of shit..
pag research sa tawon oi sa imo gipaminaw na music oi.. the web is full of it.. ehem*fourfa.com* ehem.. calling one of the first band (fugazi) to be ever labeled as "EMO/EMOCORE" as not emocore or emo at all is amusing, 1980's pa to gi "label" sila ana ha.... and emo IS post-hardcore btw, so your argument doenst stand on anything.. if you really think about it, what made people label emo bands as emo is because of hardcore bands wanting to experiment with a wider range of sound (actually singing the lyrics instead of the the more common gruntiing, screaming and shouting) thus "POST-hardcore" meaning "after-hardcore".. emo is post-hardcore, but post-harcore is not emo because post-hardcore is a blanket term for music that was derived from hardcore (eg. emocore.. grunge.. some 90's indie bands.. screamo.. metalcore.. rapcore.. queercore.. parkour, jk, hehe .. and all the "cores" out there).. aight ¿comprende amigo?
