happiness is a perpetual state of mind.. i don't think you have to do something to be happy.. you just are if you choose to be happy. nakat-on na jud ko ani.. why would i choose to be sad when there are so many things in this world to be happy about..

with regards to actions and consequences, that's a different kind of happiness. its not happiness na inherent, but a reactive type of happiness. when you do something good or bad, you can react whether you'll be happy or sad about it.

I'd like to stress on the term... JOY isthe perpetual state of mind. Happiness goes along the happenings, you can be joyful by deciding to be joyful. But in order to be happy, you need to have an event, a happening.

Remember; happiness comes with happenings... but joy?

    J-O-Y! joy in my heart!
Deep, deep down in my heart!

i agree. especially if i catch myself getting extra pissed off or angry because of circumstance, i just give myself a check on my emotions. why do i have to be angry when i can be happy? happiness is a personal choice. or better yet, J-O-Y nalang. cause i like that deep deep down in my heart song.

    OT nah cguru to.

    TOPIC: RIGHT OR WRONG
this is my idea..if there is no god..there is no right nor wrong..what there will be is what we called "socially accepted and socially unaccepted".

Morals and conscience exist because of our beliefs..when we were young we don't know such things..until sumbody taught us...and not because it is really on ourselves.

..now..lets just say..we are born in a society wherein there's no God..we don't know Him..neither His words. For sure..your parents will teach u things that only exist in ur society..They will tell u to act like this and not to act like that as far as the society accepts it.

Morals: Right or Wrong... they also exist in philosophical values. Take example buddhism, they value morals or immorality same as your beliefs. It's not a trademark for one religion ~ they can be found in any denominations.

As an atheist, my morality isn't dictated by society and they don't dictate me what is right or wrong.
