Just watched the news, despite ramon being a weak typhoon, it still have damage on some parts of the area. I know the government can't solve all the problems so we must help them by...
    1. Throwing trash properly
    2. Planting trees in your vacant lot
    3. Cleaning canals

Anyway master rodz, unsay gamit nila na device for prediction? doppler radar ba to?
I think they should add doppler radars on nearby islands for better detection ( Pila sad kaha ? )

Regardless if naa pay doppler radar diha or wala, the point is, all you can do pag layo pa ang usa ka weather anomaly is make a prediction. Mura lang ni ug auto/sakyanan nga headed towards you as you are crossing the street--your prediction is, the vehicle will indeed collide with you kay ga-move gud siya along the road. But this is NOT a guarantee nga TINOOD DYUD nga molabay siya where you are--what if diay MA-FLAT or motirik ang makina? You can only make a prediction, but reality can always turn your prediction into something else. This is precisely what happened with Ramon--the predictions were all correct, but these factors:

    1. Samar/Leyte Landmass
    2. Easterly Wave
    3. Inherent weakness of the initial TD wind velocities

all contributed to the fragmentation/disintegration of the storm upon landfall. And there was NO WAY to predict that--all that can be predicted is PATH and possible intensity along the path.

So again, mas maayo, instead nga magcomplain mo, pagtuon ug bisan basic meteorology man lang. Tanan man siguro ta (that is, if naka-agi ka'g high school, elementary or college) naka-agi ug bisan BASIC lang nga earth science, so you should re-educate yourselves, kay anyone, given proper data, can make a good enough judgement man on how to prepare for such events.

Can I add sea temperature to that factor? Kay based on what i've watched sa documentaries, the storm gathers its energy from warm water in the sea/ocean

But I really wish naa gyud meteorologic training course diri sa cebu, unfortunately sa manila ra naa. You can't even apply for PAG-ASA here ( I tried to apply), dapat sa manila pa kuno ka apply

landmass encountered = no warm water = no warmth from which to draw energy from = weakening
