I'd keep the Gascan.... I don't like the look of the straight jacket...

For me lang, if for collection, I will keep the livestrong edition.

thanks for the reply sir. we have the same sentiment. mas ganahan ko sa itsura sa gascan, naglibog lang ko kay upon checking with oakley's site, mas mahal ug mga $40 ang straight jacket.

i guess ill use the gascan and wait for the value of the straight jacket to go up hehe.

anyway, back to topic:

my oakley history are/were:

1. e-wire <-- natagak while i was going down a flight of stairs (made a mistake of hanging it on my jeans), then after tagak, natamakan pa gyud nako. stems were bent. still with me somewhere in the house collecting dust.

2. frogskins <-- the original release, transparent plastic frame with the crazy red iridium lens (i dunno kung iridium naba tawag sauna ani) used and abused til lenses were full of scratches. already misplaced (or maybe nalabay na)

3. oakley twenty <-- blue frame with crazy yellow iridium lens. stems were broken when i accidentally sat on it, i think it is still in the house also collecting dust

4. oakley zero <-- brown frame with brown iridium lens. gave it to my father-in-law

these were bought starting late 90's to early 2000's. never bought more than 1 pair at a time.after these 4, wala nako nipalit kay na realize nako tanga2 man diay ko when it comes to owning expensive sunglasses i did lust for the romeo/juliet oakleys when they came out. but grabe na ang price, cant afford na.

were just given to me as a gift recently (both at the same time this month). still unused atm.

Down to my last pair. Juliet nlng nahabilin. Bought a bunch of extra rubbers, lenses, screws and cleaning kits to last me a lifetime. Hope the flex couplers hold out.
