Did u even try to bother to understand what i was pointing at? It was about Mayweather not taking risks and i was pointing out that he does. If u read my previous post that i don't like how Mayweather and also Pacquiao letting guys have a shot at them at the ropes purposely just to prove a point that they can take it. Especially with Pacquiao, he doesn't really do anything in that position he just takes the shots and not bother to counter like Mayweather does. I personally don't like that about them cause it's far too risky fighting like that against high level competition.
Mayweather can take a shot and overcome adversity as we saw in the Mosley bout. Mosley IMO is a harder and stronger puncher than Pacquiao with regards to their Margarito fights where Mosley knocked Margarito down and stopped him and Pacquiao beat him up badly but couldn't put him down.
I agree with Maddox that the Philly Shell Defense is weak against the straight left punch where Pacquiao's strong hand is but we also know that Mayweather is not only limited to that technique, he's not only a superb defensive fighter but also a excellent boxer , counter-puncher and a great tactician like Pacman's nemesis JMM. He's not a one trick pony, he's not only gonna take it he'll also gonna give it!
Yes Pacquiao has the edge on power, just a little bit on speed and he has this lateral movements where he attacks at weird angles. Pacquiao's lateral movements works very well against his slower opponents like Margarito, ODLH and Cotto but those movements have been exposed, neutralized and nullified by JMM with brilliant counter-punching, timing and the most basic defense is to move away from the power side. Move to Pacquiao's right side first to avoid the big left hand cause his right hand ain't that well polished. JMM did that and gave Pacman serious problems. Pacquiao's left hand is devastating but just that won't win him against Mayweather, he needs the right too.
If Pacquiao can't crack Mayweather within the first 6 rounds then Money will take the cake for a decision.
