it is not bro. i feel much safer when using AVG. I had McAfee in my notebook for 15 months, bug-at mag load and di jud siya parehas ka power sa mga gipang above mentioned AVs IMO.

No anti virus is best some misses and some detect it. All anti virus are not the same. They have their own database or virus definitions. Like us different personalities.

avira Antivirus, better than AVG it has a higher detection rate. and hardy uses computer resources.

Make sure that's the special AOL version cuz regular McAfee isn't free.

ClamAV cannot do real-time scanning in windows or unless it is linked to the file open/save lib. On linux, ClamAV is linked to smbfs or avfs and the when files on the mounted share are accessed it is scanned real-time.

Correct! If you want to use ClamAV, then use the version that's bundled with Spyware Terminator. Supposedly that gives you real time protection that integrates with ClamAV.
