i agree. in a way, yes lisod ila sa clones sauna kay clones were used for a legit reason, dili para magpatagad or for selfish/immature reasons. like lahi ang for buy and sell and lahi ang for regular posting. this was to make it easier to track and differentiate customers from online friends. karon sayon na lang ilhon ang clones kay ang kagamay sa utok di matago bisan unsang ngalan dalhon.
as for the topic, this would be interesting to study especially on the development of social media habits since the early days of forums. i prefer not to think of it as having "old and new istoryans", more like batches nga nadevelop sa pakighimamat sa usag-usa at a certain timeframe.
on the whole, mas serious ang discussions here sauna not because mas serious ang mga tawo but because gamay pa ang community and most know each other personally or have already met in person. over the years as membership grew so did the diversity of characters thus the discussion changed too though the old members have not. i have seen the same thing in other forums, so i think such changes are only natural.
every now and then you still see serious discussions around here, one where the goal of each is to learn and not to lord it over the others with their "intellect" and "knowledge". if you really want to know the difference between the then and now sa istoryans, you need to understand first unsay impact sa social media over the years kay kung unsay mga kinaiya sa mag new members same ra pud na sa mga panghitabo in other platforms like facebook etc.
