Ah! Are you able to maintain your subscribed speed?

(And if you don't mind pm'ing your general location please?)

After successive problems I finally seem to be getting some stability. Keep it up SKY ... I hope this will last.

Sky is now offering Plan 3mbps for only 999, I am paying the same amount but my speed is still 1.5mbps.

I called their helpdesk and was advised 999 plan with 3mbps speed is only available for new customers.

what a way to keep your existing customers sky, keep it up. It will be just a matter of time until we find a better ISP.

Stopped working Fri PM. No technician arrived. Had to use my awful Tattoo backup stick, which loves to disconnect every 30 mins or so. I'm so sick of lousy connectivity in this place!

Is your connection still down? May I know where you're at?

North. Connection back on Monday. Signal was switched off due to some kind of mix-up at their HO database. Experienced several hours of instability last night. Will monitor quality over next few days.

Worked okay during day, terrible during evening. Videos stop and start, slow loading of web pages, gaming dropped connection. Phone number gets you a call-center with very limited knowledge and basic troubleshooting script. They do not appear to have any control over IP assignment, servers etc. I've had so much hassle with SKY/Bayantel, I'm really sick of them.

Thanks @reptoid. So I guess this means, whichever ISP we pick sux. If that's the case, I may have to go with Globe. They said I can cancel if the speed is proven to be unsatisfactory or does not meet 80% of promised speed.
