even DVD...im sure you are kidding only yourself if you would prefer watching your DVD movies on your 15inch lcd on your pc than a 32" or 40" CRT TV.
hehe bitaw makes me start to wonder what kind of 15incher you are using...if what you are saying is true i would love to get one...
seriously what 15incher are you talking bout...mind you i have one and use it everyday and i just dont see what you could possibly mean...

in general, id say 99% of the people would prefer a bigger ass TV to watch movies compared to a smaller 15inch high res tv.

its an asus lamb. mark, and i have a macbook 13 and DVD movies are great you just have to select those movies in good quality really it depends on the DVD try the movie "The Hitcher" and you'll see what i meant, as you say daghan sa downtown yeah I go there but i don't see any VCD's though only DVD's.

as for tv's in general you'll be amazed, try the sony bravia lcd tv

asus ferrari ive tried and macbook13 ive had and i still prefer watching movies on a bigger screen...i can only imagine how close you have to be to what your movies (2-3 feet?)...mas relax and enjoyable gyud over the big screen while you can sit back and relax on your lazyboy...

yeah i have bigass lcd tv's...i even sell them...i have no problems with them for movies...but lcd's na cute kaayo vs large screens...id go for larger screens

yeah large screens maybe the best for you, but it depends on the viewer i'm comfortable viewing them on my laptop as much as i'm comfortable viewing them on my ipod, if an ipod projector where available i'd buy one for sure, it'll only need a wall.

and i view movies using my laptop less then a foot, cause around (1-2ft) its hard to hear the audio

No you misconstrued what i meant, we were debating between lcd's and typical crt tv, not between how big they are cause i never said bigger conventional or lcd tv's are better; i just defended the fact that lcd screens are better than crt tvs, besides a projector is in a different class.

no, you're the one misconstruing the points iv made here bout cellphone screens...phones with BIGGER LCD can be BETTER for viewing images/movies/etc. its not all about resolution and colors. a 320x240 resolution lcd with a larger physical size can produce images that look better (more enjoyable to look at) than a phone with 352x416 with a much smaller physical size screen.

lcd's vs lcd's...lcd's vs crt...projector...etc. bottomline, PHYSICAL SIZE of the image produced ALSO MATTERS...not just resolution...

viewing on an ipod vs your laptop and your saying same lang...hahaha...you really are going around your words...ipod lcd doesnt have nearly as much resolution as your laptop lcd. and viewing ipod movies on a projector doesnt increase resolution...maybe further lowers it pa nga eh...tsk tsk. but yes i think it would be more enjoyable to watch it via the projector than on the lcd of the ipod
