Default dako ba difference ang 16million color display of a phone?

    good day peeps,

most hi-end phones today have 262,000 colors.... pero some like the midrange phone nokia 6300 already has 16million colors.
my question is dako ba jud ang difference aning 262,000 and 16million colors if you compare both viewing the same picture?

an example is if you remember the nokia 3650 which has i think 4,000 colors... pag compare nako ani sa nokia 6600 which has 65,000 colors, i really noticed nga mas brilliant ang display sa nokia 6600 kay more man iya colors.

kato pud pag compare nako sa nokia 6600 which has 65,000.00 colors to se k750i which has 262,000 colors naa pudko nakita diperensya pero dili kaayo dako compared to the jump from 4,000 to 65,000 colors.

dako kung imong i-tandi ug mas higher or lower resolutions. pero kung klaro and sharp enough na ang nawong sa tawo sa screen, then okay na. otherwise, mahimo kay ug gadget freak kay di na ka ma contented everytime there is a model with higher resolution or more features.

rule of thumb: if it works for you at the moment, then why change it? unless you want to show off, di ba?

this is my personal lesson and experience.

thinkg here is dili lang ang number of colors imong i-compare. put in some other factors like size of screen and screen resolution.

    take for example:
P910i has a screen resolution of 320x240 but what is the siize of its screen?
compare that with a phone of screen resolution but smaller size say a motorola v3x. lahi gyud ang clarity sa pics dba?

or how about Nokia N series phones.pareha ra sila tanan mga 262k colors but different screen sizes and resolution.

i very much agree.. it doesnt all revolve around the number of colors the phone has.. it has different factors too. like screen reso, colors of screen, and screen size. in terms of pics, theres the megapixel factor and the size of the camera lens the phone has.

if i compare my PSP with the 6300 of the dad of my girlfriend.. layu ra kayu ang difference.. considering 16M colors ang duha..

ergo.. screen size also matters and resolution..

ok, you've all got a point that dili lang colors ang specs nga dapat lantawun... so i'll rephrase my question and it goes like this:

example lang ni ha, if you have two phones nga pareha jud tanan ang specs, screen size, resolution, etc. but ni differ lang sila because ang isa 262,000 colors while ang isa 16million colors.... if you watch a picture nga kanang gikan ug digicam in both phones and compare, dako ba jud kaayo ang difference? (pareha tanan specs, except for the number of colors)

    ok thats a better question..

then i personally have to say, under equal light and same subject(in terms of pictures) the 16M colors would come out better compare to the 262.. same lang gd na sa crayons.. ang 8 color box compared to a 100+ color box.. better man ang 100+ dba? look at it this way..

ask markyap.. he knows more about this too.. maybe he can fill in details..

262000 compared to 16,000,000....thats a lot of numbers.personally, with the same screen resolution, there is visually a big difference between the two. 16m colors provides more brilliant vivid colors compared to the inferior 262K..

okay nakasuway kog lantaw, dako gyud ug difference pero ang makadaot sa 16M colors kay ang resolution napud, like sa n956 16M lagi pero bati man ug resolution ang 6300 mas nindot gyud tungod sa iya res. ug number of colors
