People should examine the track record of Enrile:
1. When Marcos was firmly in power, Enrile was his executor of dirty work. But even Marcos didn't trust him fully as he could read his personality.
2. When Marcos got weak and the opposition was getting stronger, Enrile had the perfect timing to switch sides.
3. During Cory's administration, Enrile secretly had a hand in most of the coups, waiting to take power, only to pull back into the shadows everytime the coup failed.
4. When GMA took power, he became allied with GMA.
5. When GMA got weak and became the subject of impeachment, he changed sides again and supported the impeachment.
6. Now he takes the side of Pinoy as the president is very strong at the moment. But just wait until the next election.
