sa ma troll lang. Most of the time people post things like this to get a reaction.

So what if they condescend us? you are not going to prove them wrong by arguing with them. You can prove them wrong by doing something about it. Ug kaning mga tagalog nga condescending sa non-tagalogs, I pity them for being so passionate about something so trivial. Myntag mkabusog na ilang "Tagalog supremacy".

    on a lighter note...

sa mga lalaki, mas maayo ang pinoy mu pickup ug chicks kaysa sgaporeans.. i saw a documentary sa tv where these guys were supposed to be experts at picking up girls... they even had a workshop teaching other guys how to do it...

in the end , they looked like stalkers scaring the girls away.

seriously though, My friends who work in SG say that the locals have inferiority complex when dealing with British or american person. Murag they want to project nga 1st world country gyud sila then di sila pa pildi.

But they really are a 1st world country. You're confusing salesmanship with inferiority complex. Every country wants to show outsiders their best side. Our tourism campaigns do the same thing. If we told them what the Philippines is really like, they might not come here. Also, Americans and British together control a huge chunk of the world economy, so it's natural for countries that want to attract more tourists or investors to try and impress these folks. At this stage in the game, I think they've moved on from the Brits and are now going after Chinese money. Instead of laughing at them, we should try to learn from them because they're doing something right...

^ ^ based on his comment, (it seems) He did not say they are not first world..It just that they want to put their level on to those countries based on their economy, But in personal terms they are still inferior..It is like mommy Deonicia being with Manila's socialites..This is how I understand..

In other words, his post is laced with racism. He is basically saying, that no matter how rich the Singaporeans become they will always feel inferior to whitey because.. I dunno just because. He doesn't elaborate on what it is the Singaporeans feel inferior about, he just assumes that they must feel that way because they are trying to be first world which is illogical because the desire to be a rich country is a natural goal for a normal country.

based on history, singa cannot stand on their own, they always need even the basic commodities, all r imported because they dont have any... water? electricity? natural resources? even whitesands is imported from the ph.

They are now today because of their leader lee kwan yew and its political will, no corruption.

If only we have a president like lee kwan yew in the past, singa is far far behind from the ph. but so sad, so sad... way ayo tanan
