Animes dubbed in tagalog, unsa'y say ninyo??

i dont watch anime's dubbed in tagalog. hell, i dont even watch when its dubbed in english :mrgreen:

I hate anime dubbed in tagalog, with one exception: yuyu hakusho.

All others, it has to be japanese with english subtitles.

I used to hate tagalog dubs before, kay hardcore otaku man kuno ko,

then I realized that the dubs was what got me into anime in the first place, also other newcomers into the genre, if it weren't for dubs, I'd still be that geek being picked on by bullies, now I have lots more people to trade pokemons with.

that said, I wonder how people can judge emotion just through VA, especailly JAP VA, unless of course kasabot gyud ug hinapon,
cause we might never know na kadto inyong gi prefer na jap VA-ing, OA-han kaayo ang mga hapon, pero dri, we gobble it up as VA god,

or maybe its a cultural thing?

I really liked some American VA's they did on anime, like COWBOY BEBOP, SLAYERs and POKEMON, those are some talented Voice acting.

except for the US ONE PIECE dub, those were horrid...

depnde ra man sa anad para nako. take yu yu hakusho, for instance. i've been a fan of the series ever since it was shown on IBC (or was it RPN?) and i've gotten used to the tagalog dubbing. so when i watched the english dubbed animax version, it sounded pretty awkward.

then there's rurouni kenshin. needless to say, the tagalog version was way too corny. and what about the tagalog gundam seed/destiny? mas ganahan pa ko sa bisaya nga RK at least makatawa pa ka.

also, there's RahXephon. since i was fortunate enough to obtain the dual audio version, both the japanese and english versions work well for me.

for english dubs, though, my rule is: if it's not an official sub, it probably sucks. so better stick to subs.
