ide problem.. i think this is croos talking of the wire in the cables..

typical of worn out ide cables.electonics as it is.it's performance and parts depreciate over time.

or if new. factory defects.

coz as u've said. try nimo sa lani na pc, ok man.

so finalize the test, try another working optical drive,if parehas ra gihapon,

buy new ide cable, just be sure of it's rating. ATA33 for older ones or ATA66 for most new dvd-rw drives.

some mobo are bit picky wen comes to cable.

my experience is di musud inig boot, ata133 na 136gb daw ako drive...hmmm

20gb na ATA33 ra man to.. ilisan pa btaw ug cable, dagan lagi ug tarong.

bro, try daw og master ani sa channel 2 sa imo ide. or try an 80 pin ide cable.

unsay brand sa imong Rom?
basin pirated pud ang CD/DVD nga imong giinsert... (usually happens for POpcoRNS)

giunsa man pud nimo pag install sa OS? using this Rom? Kay kung mao na, ok ra ang Rom...

mao gyud ni ang imong problem. try gani ug orig nga vcd or installer. mawala na ang problem. basta POpcoRNS naa gyud problems.

kindly check sa imo jumper bro basin master na tanan...ga tagsa bana og cable ng imo cdrom sa hd nimo? if ga tagsa ok ra magmaster ang jumper, pero if usa ra ang cable e master ang hd din imo cdrom slave or kuha-a ang jumper anal....din viola....

mga bro's, unsay remedy ani? mu hang jud ako PC ug mag butang na ug any CD or DVD. i tried changing drives, its still the same. i also tried reinstalling the OS, same ra ghapon. bag-o ra jud ni na problem sa PC nako....

sa akong experience ani bro... ang sony nga dvd drive kay mamili ug dvd nga mabasa... mao tingali na hinungdan... pili-an kaayo nang sony nga dvd drive. mao to akong gibaligya akong sony dvd rom sa una, giilisan nako ug pioneer... pila na ka years gamit... ok pa gihapon kaayo.
