I never grew up thinking that marriage is the be-all, end-all of things.
My Dad didn't "program" his kids to marry off because we have to conform
the norms of the society especially when you hit the nearing thirties age.
As long as you're enjoying your freedom and achieving your goals one day
at a time, then that's what matters at the end of the day.
Break-ups and annulments from peeps I love and know somehow made me
think about it as one scary feat to take... and when I had to deal my own
heartache years ago, I have turned myself into a cynic.
Just like Mr. Scrooge who belts out, "Bahhh humbugggg" about Christmas, I
too cringe when I hear peeps marry or watch those sappy love birds saying
their I do's... I always end up saying, "they're going to separate anyway..."
Mao jud, BITTER ra kaau ko hahaha!
Marriage isn't for me and I don't see any reason that I'll be using someone else's
surname in the near future because I haven't come across with someone who will
convince me otherwise.
