    Put it simply chinese families nga well to do dont want to see their children having a future with someone that's not financially capable or not capable at all. But if your someone who's very capable I doubt mu question pana sila, unless sad cguro nga mura na gyud og chanak ang nawng.

    half chinese man juwd ko, and marrying a pinoy for me is fine ra man (pero i ended up to a man of chinese blood ra sad. lol!). but my father's quite the traditionalist type. he would prefer of chinese blood as well, it highly relates sa financial aspect and tinuhuan, just like someone has posted above.

    najuy uban chinese fam esp the dads nga kanang traditional pa gani kaau.. bisag lang anak inlove sa pinoy nga laki...pero unsaon taman di insik ang laki..wala jud tugoti.. kai unsa nalang daw ang status sa iyang anak kung ang pinoy ang mapangasawa. louy pud baya.. nag hinigugmaay nagud sila... niya ang girl murag ni ana nalang nga sakto pud tingali akong papa di pud ko ready mo go down ana nga status kung nana ko ngari.. pakkkkkkk!!! kung ako ang laki ani kai whew!! grabe sagpaa sa nawng tingali ani...
