    here's mine:

    - able to understand complicated domestic and international issues.
    - able to function as the spokesman for the nation and be respected among the international community.
    - able to compromise on issues, even those near to his heart, to achieve the greater good.
    - able to see the "big picture".
    - able to function normally while under partisan attack without trying to "get" his attackers.
    - able to separate honesty about one's personal life from honesty about national policy.
    - willing enough to follow the public will on an issue, or when personal convictions require otherwise, admit that and do the best job possible of convicing the public.
    - able to laugh at himself.

or somebody like Abraham Lincoln Abraham

Para nako, in order to have a great leader we must revise or upgrade our constitution or criteria in choosing our political leaders.

For the president, running for public office. Ang req. is, he must be a filipino citizen, a certain age requirement and he must be able to read and write. For the senator, certain age req. a filipino citizen and be able to read and write. Can not run 2 consecutive terms.

Mga 'bro, correct me if i'm wrong kay 90's pato akong college days ( Political Science ) tingale na sayop ko? basta mau na cya.

Now, the question is. How could you expect a good leader if the requirement to run public is that simple. Even an ordinary citizen may able to enjoy this league regardless of his educational background. Erap, FPJ and Eddie Gil for example. Plus pun-an pas mga voters na popularity lang ang gi consider. Dapat senator and president must have atleast na lay background about law or bar exam passer baron or professional or degree holder baron? tsk! tsk! tsk! wala gyud cla ka modify aning atong balaud? Nag unsa man diay nang mga senator nato sa senado? tsk! tsk! tsk!

For me, review and revise the constitution first then maybe, we will have great leaders who's life willing to risk for the love of his/her country.

for me the best criteria is a young acheiver who does it all. New type of system implemented if you are young. also we should have age limitations on our leaders as we say above 40 will not allow to run as plotical leader.
for me somebody like George Washington the greatest president in history of U.S.A.

No one beats Macoy in terms of personality and leadership 'bro kinsa man imu ika compare nya na president? Can you give me at least one? Fault lang nya kay nag pa dectate sya sa iyang wife, hunger for money and power. If Macoy be given a second life and chance to lead our country am definitely sure, he can be a great leader.
