maayo ni siya nga news, pero maayo pud unta nga i-modernize ang service. Kasagaran sa mga gov't employee di gani kabawo mugamit ug computer.

Modernization will increase the efficiency of our gov't workers... train them, and equip them.

    dagget

.. it's nice to know that there are still effective gov. employees such as yourself exist but you can't blame us for not having faith to most of your colleagues. I suggest you should start a sort of revolution and help your fellow employees to work the public expects them to be - fast and effecient.

I guess this should be an initiative of the Civil Service Commission to remind our public servants that they are servants of the public, not someone with authority that can abuse it so easily.

I distinctly remember one Immigration Officer who was relieved from his post and asked to explain his side when he mistreated the president's daughter. Apparently, Luli does not want special treatment when she followed the rules in the airport but the officer just shouted at him. Now, the officer got what he deserves.

This is just a reminder to every public servant that they should treat everyone fairly, whether she be a president's daughter or not.

From the reading of the proposed bill for a new salary standardization law, it aims to minimize discrepancies between the earnings or salaries of those serving the government and those serving the private sector. Right now, qualified people in the government take chance in the private sector because of bigger salaries which is not present in the current salary standardization law.

The pay hike for government employees should be pursued in order to give these government employees in equal rank in terms of financial compensation with those in the private sector.
