    Labor Code of the Philippines (Art. 282-286: Termination)

    ART. 285. Termination by employee. – (a) An employee may terminate without just cause the employee-employer relationship by serving a written notice on the employer at least one (1) month in advance. The employer upon whom no such notice was served may hold the employee liable for damages.

    (b) An employee may put an end to the relationship without serving any notice on the employer for any of the following just causes:

    1. Serious insult by the employer or his representative on the honor and person of the employee;

    2. Inhuman and unbearable treatment accorded the employee by the employer or his representative;

    3. Commission of a crime or offense by the employer or his representative against the person of the employee or any of the immediate members of his family; and

    4. Other causes analogous to any of the foregoing.

    what is earned should be given to you, BUT HOW? you should revisit your contract. kay naay company na dili moallow ug monetization sa leave credits, dapat jud iconsume. Kung dili moallow ug monetization, Makuha to nimo, BUT iconsume, so sa gusto nimo na kwarta, dili gihapon pwede.

    Sa imong answer na its already March, wala pa ka nahatagan ug monetization sa SL/VL. USUALLY, company who provided option to monetize leave credits, imo na iapply every end of year. so meaning every December, naa ka ana fill-upan na form para mamonetize ang imo leave credits. If none, automatically, macredit to sa next year OR for some, ma forfeit.

    GUYs it is really better na iscrutinize jud ninyo inyo contract, company policy usa mo manarbaho sa inyo companya. lisud ug complain kung wa ka kahibalo sa imong katungod in the first place. lain lain ang patakaran sa mga companya. hinuon, tanan na sila dapat mosunod sa guidelines sa Labor. PERO sad to say, dili mandatory ang SL/VL, prerogative sa companya. so companya ra jud nimo ang makatubag. bisan pa muadto ka sa Labor, di gihapon ka ana nila masolutionan.
