Default special effects in Filipino films

Filipino ads have better effects than our films/TV. Moments later, I sneek a look at the SPIRITS for the 1st tym. It was very good in terms of visual and special effects and heard that encantadia is too. But one thing i would like to stress out. No matter how good or dazzling the effects are, if the director is a laid back, "pwede na yan. ipit na tayo sa oras" type of guy, its never the SFX/editor's fault like in Marina, it was amazing but so unmatched. Lastikman very extreme contrast efffects but still awkward and naive. But if ull try watching our TV ads. those ad/creative directors really knows their job.

I have also seen the new cebuano ad... i think that was Argentina Junior, the cinematography is too extravagant to fit to the mood.

but its one of our important step.

its dead. it declined a long time ago and now its dead.

i think education is most important in film-making. i'm not saying you need to go to expensive film schools to make your movie and express yourself, but it would definitely help, and it would show in the output. technically speaking.
another thing is the writing. we need a new breed of screenwriters to make lively scripts and not that usual stuff that talks about broken families and rich people and poor people and all that cliche' stuff.

when you think about it, I think filipinos like this kind of stories it is somewhat easier to relate to being the filipino rooted at families.

pero kung gusto kag something new, I'm in production of a RADICALLY NEW SCRIPT TO WHICH I HAVE NO INTENTION OF EVER SHOOTING EVER, dili siya cliche...asking for donations po....
