Science cannot go wrong NASYO.
It's how the observations were interpreted that made the conclusions erratic, much worse if those erratic findings are to be published as facts, only to be proven wrong in the future.

I agree with sir rodsky that science is a tool, yes, just like a hammer.
But it depends on how you hold the hammer when you are pounding the nail.
Hold it properly and the nail is driven through the wood.
A little bit on the side and the nail is bent halfway through.

However, you again committed the mistake of seeing science as a body/structure like that of an institution, when in fact, it's just a tool. This is the most common misconception most people have about science. A hammer or a saw doesn't "lie" or "tell the truth" when it's pounding on a nail, or cutting a piece of wood--it just does what it was designed to do, effectively and efficiently.

While it's true that science refers to a system or method of acquiring knowledge, the body of knowledge gained from using that system can also be called science pud baya. Hence, Nasyo's idea of science being a body or structure has some truth behind it.

Anyway, I post here every now and then for the same reason I post on all other boards, to learn and share lang.
