I'll be buying a new cpu this friday, suggestions?

Given with your budget cut and choice of 9500 GT I suggest go for a motherboard with integrated graphics and the AMD's 785 chipset is your best bet since it can keep up with the 9500 GT or might be faster in some case. This way you don't need to buy a discreet video card and a branded PSU because 500w power supply that's included in the casing will do the job then you can use that savings to buy other components. Even the lowly generic PSU can handle a GeForce 9500 GT.I wil not recommend that you do this but my 9600 GT that I feed to a generic 500W PSU is still doing it's job for a year now. Anyway, here is what I will suggest you get and you can omit the optical and the display if you already got one:
