Genesis 1:28 - And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth."

on the other side of overpopulation as people may call it, naa man pud na xa good side in the future. according to newsweek...the Filipinos will not suffer loss of its human resources. according to that article na countries having this one-child policy or other population control methods will likely to suffer human shortage. America will have more asians than caucasians in the coming years since it has likely become a nation with diversed cultures and have alot of asian dwellers. It was also said that Filipinos will not suffer this phenomena, however we have a growing number of college graduates who work as nannies or gardeners abroad. The problem jud is not overpopulation but congestion in the metropolis...

Naa man ilang parents, brothers and other relatives gaatiman sa ilang mga tinanom didto.

Simple economics shows us that the supply and demand principle applied to the workforce of the Philippines means that wages will always be low as there is such great competition for jobs. Therefore the only viable option for escaping poverty for the majority of educated Filipinos is to go overseas thus exasperating the brain drain problem.

In twenty years many OFW's ( no matter how familiar they may be with Genesis 1:28 ) may not want to return to a country even more overpopulated with unemployed, uneducated people and a government still pondering whether or not it should actually try and do something.
