Here's a thought to the thread starter. For God loves the world that He gave his only Son... correct?

Why did God made that "great flood" in the first place just as to prove His love to all mankind?

My take is that His love has it's hate also. It can never be true love unless you feel hate. Imagine having a girlfriend or boyfriend... 95% of times you don't like the person but in the end you developed such thing called "love".
