    BTW- ill take these chances
Kanang mga nakapalit nako- if your HDD are included on the list and experiencing these kind of bug- im open for negotiation to claim for warranty and replacement in the factory
but be sure that your hdd still with factory warranty
    just send me pm
That'd be good.. however, will the retail store take care of flashing the firmware once the drive is bricked? Or is it going to be Seagate support, and will it take like a month to have it replaced or just flashed? There's also the possibility of them replacing the hard drive, but with the same firmware.

If this doesn't get fixed soon, I'll switch to WD or even Samsung.

    EDIT:

Stickying this thread as this is is something that every computer user should know.

I believe you don't need a receipt to claim for warranty....Im talking about seagate warranty and not the store warranty.

Check your HD's serial and model number tru seagate website if it is still under warranty.
File an RMA request tru there website and send your defective HDs to Seagate (mine was shipped to an address in Manila)- Php106.00 (2 HDs) via Air21..

You will receive the replacement HDs in no time all the way from Singapore via UPS...

this is my experience when I RMAed my ST31000340NS

Hassle Free jud ang Seagate when it comes to warranty. Mas madali pa gani magpailis ka directly sa seagate kaysa sa mga tindahan diri sa ato...
