I stand for what I believe.

I can't say that I am truly faithful to my faith -- Most of the times I get tempted, a lot. But, I can say that I truly believe in my faith. Faith is a complex idea. When people talk about faith, it's like explaining the inexplicable. How can you explain the resurrection of Christ? How can you explain God as omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent? How can you explain our existence? Why are we here? Why am I writing? Why are you reading this? The only solution or logic I know is that, faith transcends logic and knowledge.
Yes, knowledge and logic are both important and crucial to our existence. But, we must also remember that we are merely human beings -- We have limited logic, knowledge and wisdom. As human beings we have no choice but to accept our capabilities. We may understand complex ideas, but we must accept the fact that we have not fully grasp the idea of life, God and religion. I can't say that all the stories in the bible are true or our "Religion" is undeniably true, but we must keep in mind that God is God -- God is a perfect being, Sometimes we forget how intelligent and wise God is. How can we prove or disprove God's existence? By studying the bible, looking for contradictions? By disproving the idea of faith?
Sometimes our profound knowledge overshadows our ignorance -- The ignorance that we cannot fully understand God's purpose, God's plan. The ignorance of knowing our true purpose. My point? No matter how intelligent or brilliant you might be, there's still someone higher than who you are, and that is GOD.

I think you spoke well and as honest as it could be said.
I think we are like lab mice who are aware that there is a room beyond the one we are in. We are trapped in a maze on a table in the room we exist in. No matter how we try to imagine the room or rooms beyond our own existance, we are still restricted and must only exist in the maze. We can run around for our rewards of cheese but life outside that maze is and unexplored room, and beyond that room is only the imagination of lab mice. It is beyond our ability to know the truths as long as we are restricted to the maze.
We do not understand the reason for the maze, or understand who made the maze or why it was made. We can not explain the science or the scientist. They are beyond us, after all we are merely the lab mice and all we can truly understand is cheese..
faithful ko sa akong faith... but sa mga tao karon nga ngdala sa akong religion (priest, bishops, etc) dili ko faithful nla.
