love story ra jud not to mention same ra nga mga artista... , wala jud budget to create a more imaginative and surprising movie.![]()
kasagaran mga pinoy movies kay ila i-base sa mga love songs.. luod kaayog mga scenes.. kilig2x ra.. errr losyang n kaau mga artista... but when it comes to hollywood movie kay naa juy little bit of evrything..
Halos tanan movies naa jud nay sekreto na gitago ang bida... unya diha na magtuyok ang story ana nga sekreto.. same goes with soap opera.. ang "sekreto" ang yawe sa tanan problema![]()
I've seen some Bollywood movies and I think their plots are actually more experimental than our current ones. As to the singing and dancing in the middle of their movie, they take pride in that, and who knows we may have actually gotten that from them; only we moved on after being influenced by Western movies. Only "moved on" in this case doesn't actually mean we got better.
Anyway, I have to watch more Bollywood movies to be sure. But I do know that the love teams in Filipino cinema make me sick to my stomach. I don't even think our actors really go out of their way to get to know the characters they are playing. For instance Zhang Ziyi lived with a blind woman for 2 months in preparation for her role as a blind girl in House of Flying Daggers. I haven't heard any of our actors today do something like that. So long a they can make tears come out of their eyes or smile and shout and look good, that's enough for them.
Our movies in a scale of 100; I rate it 1. Hope they will improve the quality in every aspect.
still waiting for the time na kita na pud ilang sundon..tsk tsk tsk.
balik2 lang artista bisag way angayan sa role na gi da, recycled story line and poor scripts..
walang kamatayang love story.. hahay..
technically why filipino movies sucks because
-poort picture quality
except those films that are featured in Manila Film festival
-cinematography
most hollywood movies uses multiple cameras and is shot from multiple angles, filipino movies are oftern imploy steady shots with only 1 or two transitions.
-script and lines
grabe ka emotional ang kasagaran lines, grabe ka predictable.
-special effects
does not exist in philippine cinema. Pero katng Ang Panday sa MMFF is the closest to holywood effects.
