You can discuss whatever you know about maitreya. The article i posted is somehow related to the Antichrist in the bible, that is why i am posting it to reach those who are watching over the Antichrist.

IMHO, as what i have read in the article. He will appear in the midst of global crisis: may it be war, famine, or whatever crisis that will happen somewhere in the future. He could be the 2nd coming but Jesus said, beware for there are people that will claim he is the christ and then mislead their souls.

The LORD MAITREYA, commonly used by students/chelas who are closely connected w/ the esoteric/occult teachings. Hence its an ancient term to designate somebody who is extremely evolve; 2 ranks higher than an adept or master(refering to the GREAT WHITE BROTHERHOOD).
Other names of lord Maitreya: Bodhisatva, & in the west known as The Christ. The Master Jesus was the last one to lent his body to The lord Maitreya to re emphasiezd the BAKHTI YOGA teaching, more of devotional system of religion.
Now a lot of self proclaim esoteric groups are now using the same figure(Lord Maitreya)
Mostly new age groups,& "medium/spiritist" enthusiast.

The Brotherhood are composed of seven rays. The first ray are of nine initiations of which the silent watcher is the highest, the 8th the pratyeka buddha, then manu, then chohan. Maitreya and the buddha belongs to the second ray, the seventh and the eight respectively. the rest rays only hve the mahachohan as the highest... am i correct?

Now Maitreya is a sanskrit word literally " Loving One" . In Japanaese mysticism He is called Miroku. This was fully developed in Mahayana but first presented in Hinayana. He is the embodiment of all-encompassing love.
